I'm considering another visit to Ray Carlsen in July or August.
Due to my having to pay for the expensive veterinary costs for my mother's 2 dogs, the trip has been pushed back to October.  The A500/600/1200 power supplies have been built by Ray and are waiting for me!

Not another load from but another load to give to Ray Carlsen when I see him in September.  I have 4 brown C64s and 3 C64C's to be repaired by him.  There is also one smashed C64 which I will give to him for parts.  Also I'm tired of having C64 composite/s-video cables with a RCA male plug at the end for audio.  In the past I've used all kinds of audio adapters to connect that RCA plug to modern computer speakers which have a 1/8" mini-plug.  Time to convert those C64 cables to have female 1/8" jacks that can accept the 1/8" mini-plugs.

All repaired!  One C64 had to have its SID chip replaced, and Ray put an ArmSID into it.

I had Ray construct several of those cables for me, but I need more!  Maybe another four...  Smiley
Right now it looks like I'll be visiting Ray in late October.  Some broken C128's to give to him for parts... A club member's 1541 to be repaired.  Oh, I read that Ray can replace the old, linear power supplies in brown 1541's with a modern p.s..  I'll have him do that to two of my 1541's.  No more heat problems after that operation!
