On the cover, it is listed as the complete series.  I discovered that means it does not include the British production Max Headroom, a movie which was not a pilot for an American series and had a grim, depressing feel to the story.
Today at the Creation Grand Slam Star Trek Convention in the Los Angeles area, I bought a bootleg copy of the U.K. version of Max Headroom.  The seller said that in terms of video quality, it was 9 out of 10.

Meh, it looks like it was copied from VHS tape many generations after generations ago.  I'd give it a 6.  The story is intriguing, though, in it's U.K. version.  It's "rougher" around the filmic edges, compared to the smoother U.S. version.  Consider the U.K version as pilot 1 and the U.S. version as pilot 2.

Another one off the wish list!  Before The Other Group of Amigoids meeting last Saturday, I went to the Barnes & Noble Bookstore and bought The Equalizer, season 1.  It was 40% off list price, and I couldn't resist.
I saw the pilot episode again.  Wow, how many years ago had I originally seen it!  Though the script felt clunky at times, Edward Woodward's performance was great.
